I've seen every episode of the Pokémon anime. I binged them all shortly before being diagnosed with depression. I've since been treated for depression but my love of Pokémon remains. I started this podcast with Caitlin, partly as an excuse to talk regularly, but mostly to get her to see what she was missing out on.
I've played every generation of games since I got Leaf Green for my Gameboy Advanced, collected the trading cards since I was seven, and own far too much Pokémon merchandise. Any and all jokes made about the series come from a place of love, as it has played such a big role in my life.
Outside of Pokémon, I like photography, drawing, and playing video games. I love animals as much as I love Pokémon. I have a bachelors in Asian Studies and currently live in Japan.  My hope for this podcast is that it helps someone through rough times the same way Pokémon helped me through my depression.
